This one full-day event, brought to you by PCE Meet in partnership with Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) will feature two interactive workshops: one led by Amber Young and the other by Al Zeitoun.
Workshop 1:
By Amber Young- This interactive workshop showcases how the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Project Management is leveraging artificial intelligence to transform project controls and earned value management. Participants will explore the PARS AI ecosystem, including the AI Assistant, Walt, and learn how AI agents, natural language queries, and API integrations streamline workflows, automate reporting, and deliver real-time project insights. The session will also highlight DOE PM’s collaborative approach to AI adoption through its community-driven Lunch & Learn program, sharing practical lessons, implementation strategies, and best practices. Attendees will gain actionable insights into using AI to enhance decision-making, improve efficiency, and support project management professionals in managing complex projects.
Workshop 2:
By Al Zeitoun- Explore how organizations continue to struggle in this decade with creating the supportive culture that makes the best use of the dynamic mix of process, people, and technology. To execute this continual transformation work, the necessary muscle is excelling in delivering a way of working that is fluid, highly digital, and seamless in working across the organizational boundaries. This session highlights the importance of creating an organizational culture and project control offices that are able to address the reality that transformation is continuous and is here to stay. Future project leaders must be intentional in addressing critical problems by being clear on what transformation capabilities are being built, how they are sustained and continuously evolving, whether people in the organization have a sense of pride and connectedness to the transformation efforts and roadmaps, whether organizations are still struggling with unfortunate models of staffing and controlling transformation work, and whether the right impactful initiatives and project control work are being prioritized while mapping critical talent accordingly.
